Why our voice matters

What is ‘our voice’?

Writing is a big part of what we do at the UX Design Institute.

It’s how we do things like:

• Guide students through courses
• Promote ourselves to new students
• Engage with the UX community

‘Our voice’ is the way our writing sounds, across everything we write.

Why does it matter?

Our voice says a lot about who we are, and what we’re good at.

It can help people decide whether we’re:

• Experts in what we do (or not)
• Supportive (or distant)
• Approachable (or cold)

A clear, consistent voice makes those impressions stronger for our audiences.
